The Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, who has been doing an overall bang-up job, recently declassified the Biden regime’s “countering domestic terrorism” playbook that it took the occasion of the Jan. 6 “insurrection” — “the worst attack on American Democracy™ since Pearl Harbor” or whatever — to create.

Via The Washington Examiner (emphasis added):
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has declassified a Biden administration plan to counter domestic terrorism established in the months following the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.
Gabbard declassified former President Joe Biden’s Strategic Implementation Plan for Countering Domestic Terrorism at the prompting of conservative groups, including America First Legal…
Biden’s summer 2021 outline even garnered the criticism of the American Civil Liberties Union*, which called it a reflection of the “ever-expanding authority to surveil and monitor American communities.”
When a Democrat president has engendered criticism from the neutered and complicit modern-day ACLU, you know you’ve got a totalitarian whopper on your hands.
The newly released contents of the document don’t disappoint in that regard: the Strategic Implementation Plan For Countering Domestic Terrorism.
It’s worth noting that, as we consider the document, what the state means by “domestic terrorists” are mothers who exercise their First Amendment rights to object to their children being taught transgender and race-hate as standard curricula in public schools.
Petition to the Supreme Court of the United States (emphasis added):The Attorney General of the United States has weaponized the vast law enforcement resources of the federal government to target parents, including Petitioners, who publicly and vehemently object to certain policies being forced upon their children in various school districts across the country, specifically including school districts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and Saline, Michigan. The Attorney General has pejoratively designated these parents as “threats” and “domestic terrorists,” deeming them worthy of investigation and surveillance by the federal government.

The document lays bare the government’s complex methods across multiple agencies, previously reported on but not officially enumerated for public consumption, including partnering with private-sector partners (tech companies, leftist NGOs) to censor by proxy, inoculating children in public schools against wrongthink, and smuggling gun control into the war on domestic terrorism.
Every power grab feeds the machine, enabling further power grabs in an endless cycle of ever-increasing power and ever-proliferating authorities the government claims for itself.
For example, from Pillar Four:
Implement the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act to address hate crime reporting barriers faced by disadvantaged communities by promoting law enforcement training and resources to prevent and address bias-motivated crimes; improve federal hate crimes data and analysis to eliminate hate crimes underreporting; mitigate xenophobia and bias, including by advancing inclusion in the nation's COVID-19 response.
One of perhaps many lessons we might take away is that this massive power grab did not occur in a vacuum — nor did it emerge spontaneously.
On the contrary, the “countering domestic terrorism” regime was facilitated by, and built upon, the post-9/11 “War on Terrorism” scaffolding.
Consider the nearly identical language that Deep State “retired” spook John Brennan used back in 2021 to compare the “insurgents” in Iraq in the mid-2000s to the “pro-Trump insurgency” of this decade.
.@JohnBrennan: Biden intel community “are moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about” the pro-Trump “insurgency” that harbors “religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians” pic.twitter.com/SjVXWhPhR8

Or this obscene display from Biden DHS capo Alejandro Mayorkas on the twenty-second anniversary of 9/11:
The threats to the homeland have evolved significantly over the past twenty years… Twenty years ago, twenty-two years ago, we were not thinking about the threat of cybersecurity… the threat of adverse nation-states spreading disinformation and trying to sow discord in the United States was not something at top of mind. The frequency and gravity of extreme weather events. Our Department of Homeland Security… [has] grown so significantly in our partnerships and capabilities…
The threat of the domestic violent extremist is the most prominent terrorism-related threat that we face in the homeland now. And partnership is the only thing that can conquer that. And your message of unity resonates on a day like this so profoundly.
State Frankensteins that you birth, no matter the original intention or targets, will inevitably be weaponized against you once your opponents are in power, molded and manipulated far beyond their initial intended use to suit whatever purposes the current power structure desires — a lesson we ought to keep in mind as we move into the Golden Age.
