As Joe Biden pledges billions of dollars to Africa and to climate boondoggles, families who lost everything in the recent hurricanes in North Carolina are sleeping in tents in freezing temperatures.
North Carolinians are camping out, some of them in tents, amidst snowfall. Federal aid has been slow in coming or never came at all for too many hurricane victims. Yet the Democrats seem to have endless amounts of taxpayer money for their pet projects. The Biden-Harris administration, in the last few months, has sent millions of dollars to jihad-loving Gazans, terrorist-controlled Lebanese, and (most recently) Africans. Not to mention the illegal aliens living comfortably in hotels at U.S. taxpayer expense. All while U.S. hurricane victims wait for federal aid that doesn’t come.
Newsmax host Todd Starnes posted on X Dec. 3, “It is snowing in the Western North Carolina mountains. Many people are living in tents. Others have no home. FEMA has abandoned the people there. So has Biden. Instead, the president is sending $1 billion in disaster relief aid to Africa. That's because Western North Carolina is Trump Country. And the Marxists within the administration want the citizens there to suffer. It's really that simple and it's really that appalling.” Maybe if FEMA hadn’t spent over $1 billion on illegal aliens, it would have some money left for American citizens.

The Biden-Harris administration has also spent $100 billion on “clean” energy initiatives, even though this so-called clean energy is actually toxic, unreliable, inefficient, and extremely expensive. Reuters reported:
Among the recent awards that pushed the grant funding over the $100 billion milestone are a $119 million contract issued by the General Services Administration to electrify five federal buildings in the D.C. region; $147 million to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for science and data collection to account for the effects of climate change on fisheries; and an additional $256 million in Rural Energy for America Program grants and loans from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
And yet there is no money for North Carolina families trying to survive in the snow?

There is no climate crisis, and “green” energy is nothing but an expensive scam. Ultimately, Starnes is probably right. The Biden-Harris administration couldn’t care less what happens to people in North Carolina. Was it because they voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 election? It prefers to launder money to foreign entities and domestic climate alarmists. Thank God these people have been voted out of office. When it comes to spending American taxpayers’ money, the feds ensure that law-abiding Americans always receive the money last.
