Biden vs. Trump: It’s Good to Have a Pro-Christian President for Easter

Comparing Joe Biden’s carefully de-religicized Easter celebration and glorification of transgenderism last Holy Week to Donald Trump’s proud emphasis on the true meaning of Easter, it’s clear that this year we have a much more pro-Christian president in the White House. And that’s definitely something to celebrate.

In 2024, Biden‘s White House banned any religious imagery from a children’s easter egg contest. Joe Biden also commemorated a transgender activist holiday during Holy Week. But this year, Donald Trump emphasized ahead of Easter Sunday that “America is a Nation of Believers. We need God.” Trump invoked divine aid in making America great again, illustrating once more what a bullet (literal and metaphorical) we Christians in America dodged by having Trump instead of Biden’s anti-Christian VP Kamala Harris in the White House.

Today is Holy or Maundy Thursday, when Jesus Christ instituted the holy Eucharist, changing bread and wine into His body and blood (Luke 22, Mark 14), and commanding His apostles to do likewise in remembrance of Him, as the sign (or “sacrament”) of the new covenant (Matthew 26:28). Christ told us we would not have eternal life unless we ate — or, literally, chewed — His flesh and drank his blood (John 6:54-55). But not only was the significance of Holy Thursday lost on supposedly “Catholic” Joe Biden last year, he also chose Good Friday 2024 to declare excitedly that that Sunday — yes, Easter Sunday — was “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

Now, for a little over a decade radical LGBTQ activists have celebrated March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility, but not only is it concerning that an American president would promote a holiday essentially glorifying mental illness, since March 31 was also Easter last year, Biden ended up giving the impression that he prioritized the transgender festival over the feast of Christ’s Resurrection. In fact, his messages for the trans day were more than twice as long as his messages for Easter.

Biden and his handlers might as well have named March 31 Democrats’ Day of Christian Invisibility. After all, transgenderism is also condemned as inherently evil by the Catholic Church, yet “Catholic” Joe Biden was lauding transgenders for Holy Week and Easter. Speaking of invisibility, my colleague Kruiser wrote last year:

And then there was the White House Easter Egg Roll, which has been a tradition since 1878. Not only did Biden introduce the “Oyster Bunnies,” but the White House barred religious symbols from appearing on the eggs, even though Easter is an explicitly religious holiday. Who would respond positively to a move like that? Urban progressives, of course.

This year’s White House Easter is likely to be very different, thank goodness. The Biden-Harris administration persecuted Christians for their beliefs, Kamala openly insisted she did not believe in freedom of conscience on such topics as abortion, and she told students shouting “Christ is King” that they were at the “wrong rally.” But We the People voted Donald Trump into office instead, and below is his beautiful Easter message:

This Holy Week, Christians around the World remember the Crucifixion of God’s Only Begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate His Glorious Resurrection and proclaim, as Christians have done for nearly 2,000 years, “HE IS RISEN!”

Through the pain and sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, we saw God’s boundless Love and Devotion to all Humanity and, in that moment of His Resurrection, History was forever changed with the Promise of Everlasting Life.

As we approach this Joyous Easter Sunday, I want to wish Christians everywhere a Happy and very Blessed Holiday. America is a Nation of Believers. We need God, we want God and, with His help, we will make our Nation Stronger, Safer, Greater, more Prosperous, and more United than ever before. Thank you, and HAPPY EASTER!

Amen! A blessed Holy Week and Easter to you all!
