“At a certain point, you’ve made enough money.” Back in 2010, President Barack Hussein Obama said that out loud into a microphone. But now, once again, Past Obama and Present Obama find themselves at odds. I cannot imagine Barry is saying the same thing today to his wife.
Former first lady Michelle Obama is coming to Newark Nov. 3 and fans are shelling out big bucks to hear what she has to say.
The cheap seats for the “Moderated Conversation” at the Prudential Center were going for $144 on Ticketmaster…
Floor seats are priced as high as $1,300 and the most expensive ticket currently available is $4,200 for a suite-level ducat.
Yikes. I’ll pass on that suite, but $144 sounds like a real bargain!
At a certain point, you’ve made enough money. But you don’t get to decide when that “certain point” arrives. The Obamas get to decide that. And obviously, they’ve decided that their own “certain point” isn’t anywhere close yet. They’ve got book deals and arena tours and Netflix shows and I don’t know what all. They’re really raking it in.
To which I say: Good for them! If they’ve got that many suckers lined up with their wallets out, that’s the American way. The way those two always pretended not to believe in. Living by the same rules you’ve set down for everybody else won’t buy you a beachfront estate on Martha’s Vineyard. Showing integrity won’t put your kids through Ivy League schools. All that stuff costs a lot of dough.
Besides, it’s not like they’re Republicans. The Obamas left the Democratic Party in shambles behind them, and now they get to grub as much money as they want. And the people throwing fistfuls of cash at them are all… Democrats! The Obamas are being richly rewarded by the very same people whose electoral fortunes they’ve ruined. It’s a brilliant con.
And after all those libs are done kissing Michelle’s butt, they’ll go back to screaming at the current first lady to remember her place and shut up.
Can you imagine how jealous Hillary is right now? She can’t even give tickets away to hear her speak. All she ever had to peddle was influence, and she’s clean out of it. She’s at least as much a victim of the Obamas as any other Democrat, and nobody wants her around anymore.

P.S. “But what about Trump?” Okay: What about Trump? Greed is his whole deal. When did he ever scold anybody for making too much money? He’s a hypocrite about a lot of things, but definitely not this one.
