Once again, the Democrats have shown their true colors when it comes to illegal immigration. If you thought that the 2024 election would be a wake-up call for the Democrats and they’d rethink their priorities, you were mistaken. To the contrary, they’ve doubled down on the radicalism that America rejected.
Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, and Rachel Morin—three innocent lives, all taken by illegal immigrants who never should have been in this country to begin with. Riley was a nursing student in Georgia, murdered by a Venezuelan national. Twelve-year-old Nungaray was brutally killed in Texas by two other Venezuelan illegals. And Morin, a mother of five in Maryland, was slain by a man who has just been convicted of the crime. Their deaths should have outraged everyone in this nation, regardless of political affiliation.
These tragedies aren’t isolated; they’re the deadly consequences of a broken immigration system that Democrats refuse to confront. Had it not been for Joe Biden’s open borders, they’d all be alive today.
No outrage. No calls to action. No criticism of Joe Biden’s open border policies. Nothing.
It took the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia for Democrats to reveal themselves capable of being outraged over immigration policy. Think about that: Democrats can’t find it in themselves to feel anger or remorse over these senseless killings, yet the moment an illegal alien MS-13 gang member is deported, the outrage machine goes into overdrive.
It’s a stark reminder that Democrats have firmly planted themselves on the side of illegal immigrants, even when it means turning a blind eye to the safety of American citizens.
Either Democrats have the worst political instincts imaginable, or they have no souls.
The contrast couldn’t be more striking. When American citizens are brutally murdered by illegal immigrants, the Democratic response is muted at best. Maybe they offer obligatory condolences, but there’s no real outrage, no calls for immediate action to secure our borders. But when an MS-13 gang member is deported, suddenly the floodgates of indignation open wide.

What does that tell you about their party? It tells you that they have learned nothing and that the safety of American citizens takes a backseat to the rights of those who have no legal right to be here in the first place.
It’s a slap in the face to the families of victims who are left to grieve while the left frets over the deportation of a gang member.
Even the liberal media has shown more interest in Abrego Garcia’s story than that of Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, or Rachel Morin.
“In my entire professional life, I’ve never received this many questions from the media about an American who was raped or murdered by an illegal alien,” White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller told a bunch of reporters on Monday. “All of you who are enjoying your lives and doing quite well, if you had children and you were living near any of these people, you would move away immediately.”
It’s clear that Democrats have made their choice. They’ve decided that pandering to illegal immigrants is more important than protecting the lives of American citizens. The left has doubled down on their open-border policies because, in the end, they care more about importing Democrat votes than the lives of those they represent.
