Washington Nationals Manager Dave Martinez responded to not being included among the National League Manager of the Year finalists after winning the World Series.
Many social media users expressed their disapproval with the finalists.
Dave Martínez was not a Manager of the Year finalist. He was robbed. https://t.co/VhGhwIjMz3 #cubsfans #ownitnow

When asked for his reaction to not being included, Martinez replied, “You know what? I don’t have one, actually. I’m proud of what we’ve done all year.”
“I’m proud of this team,” Martinez said during a special signing at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Springfield, Va., on Tuesday night just outside of Washington, D.C.
“I’m proud of this city so bringing home the trophy was my goal and I’m so happy that it’s here in Washington,” he added.
St. Louis Cardinals’ Mike Shildt, Milwaukee Brewers’ Craig Counsell and the Atlanta Braves’ Brian Snitker were announced as the finalists.
