Are School Shootings Preventable?

This new ad from the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting suggests that school shootings are preventable. They’re not particularly asking for gun control, but rather that people take stock of the people around them and watch out for the signs. This video demonstrates how people might miss those signs, like a kid feeling alone or bullied, like a kid showing interest in weapons, and like a kid excluding himself from group activities.
