Attorney General Jeff Sessions seems to have differed from SCOTUS Justice Neil Gorsuch, and he says he thinks it’s totally acceptable for President Trump to criticize the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Sessions, the country’s most powerful lawyer, said, “The greatest threat to the independence of the judiciary is if judges become more political.” He says Trump must follow the decisions of the court system, but that he is welcome to critique it when he feels slighted.
