Texas Governor on Hurricane Harvey: 'The Time to Get Out Is Now'

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) is  worried about all those in the path of Hurricane Harvey. He said, “The rainfall is going to be far greater than what people anticipated, the flooding will be very dramatic and it’s going to cause problems for many, many days.” He emphasized a sense of urgency, saying, “It will be very, very difficult for you to evacuate more than 6 or 10 or 12 hours from now. The time to get out is now, understanding that your life is far more important than your property.” Please be careful out there!
