President Trump was understandably angry as news of the truck-ramming terrorist attack broke. Since then he has called for the death penalty to be utilized, for an end to a diversity lottery visa program, and for a better justice system. But MSNBC alleges that he might be too angry…
MSNBC contributor Eli Stokols claimed that Trump “did not react this way when a white person shot dozens of people in Las Vegas. He did not come and say, ‘We have to do an immediate policy change. We need to give this guy the death penalty.’ He did not call for this after Charlottesville, when the criminal there did the exact same thing as the person in this case, driving a vehicle into a crowd.”
So the idea that Trump reacted more harshly to this act of terror than he did to Las Vegas or Charlottesville proves his racism?!? Stokols argued it was proof of his “ethnocentric nationalism.”
It can’t have anything to do with the fact that this was an ISIS attack…
