Kruiser's 'BTB': We Don't Live in a Sane World, so Stop Expecting Sane Things to Happen

Townhall Media

Maybe it's because I've been in Ann Arbor for all of October and have been surrounded by a bunch of people who wax nostalgic for the days when Nikita Khrushchev and Fidel Castro used to pal around, but I'm not feeling as optimistic as most of my conservative friends are about the election.

My own child has accused my of being a contrarian.

While I don't rule out my daughter's wisdom, I know that there is a lot more at play in this election year, like the fact that so many people are ready to be fitted for straitjackets.

Let's be real here: there is no sane reason that Kamala Harris should be within sniffing distance of the presidency. In a world that hadn't gone full Cuckoo Land, Donald Trump would be up well outside the margin of error in all of the swing states.

Instead, this once-great nation is perilously close to electing a cackling village idiot.

This episode deals with how I let such dark thoughts run through my head without seeing if I can get a Groupon rate for electroshock therapy. It's the perfect blend of lighthearted and serious. I think.

Enjoy!
