We have all been having a great time talking about all of the winning and the fun here lately. As I've mentioned thirteen or fourteen thousand times since Inauguration Day, I'd gotten to the point where I wasn't aware of just how gloom-filled I had become. Yes, I'm sure that everyone around me was acutely aware.
Or, they were too miserable themselves to notice.
Anyway, here in the New Trump Order, nobody has time for the constipated commie haters of fun who were in charge for four years. President Trump is disenfranchising the scolds.
Kevin and I have spoken frequently on this podcast about the woke mob assault on freedom of speech and humor. I've written about it a lot too. Both of us have been noticing the quick shift in the American mood towards comedy since the election last year. It's both encouraging and, quite frankly, mind-blowing.
In this episode, we discuss some of the things we've seen and whether we think that the shift will be permanent. Unlike most of the episodes where we talk about stand-up, we didn't meander this time. Kevin still had two hours of radio content to record, so we were on a tight schedule. We promise that the tangents will be back soon.
