From a strategic perspective, my guess is that the scientific-technological elite would like to wait to let the sour memory of COVID blow over two or three years longer in the normies’ minds (I won’t ever forget, nor forgive) before dropping the promised next pandemic to minimize popular pushback.
But if their lawfare against Trump doesn’t work, and it looks like vote-rigging wouldn’t be enough to overcome the legitimate turnout for him (there’s only so much they can do with the limited oversight in place and the MAGA grassroots vigilance that will be in full effect at all polling stations), they’ll resort to drastic measures.
The technocrats, led by the likes of Bill Gates and Klaus “you will eat ze bugs” Schwab, have, indeed, been forecasting a new pandemic for many years at this point, giving it at different times different names, but perhaps most ominously “Disease X” — meaning, ostensibly, they don’t know what it is exactly, but they know it exists and it will trigger another global pandemic.
(Or perhaps they know very well what it is — in a vial on a shelf in some U.S.-funded Chinese biolab — and merely wish to keep that close to the vest. The peasants are on a need-to-know basis.)

The mysterious 'Disease X' made it onto the agenda of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus joining other health officials to discuss it, reported Bloomberg.
Reportedly, a meeting titled 'Preparing for Disease X' was spotted by the observers in the WEF agenda. Experts believe that the mysterious Disease X could cause 20 times more deaths than a coronavirus pandemic.
The cause of mysterious Disease X is currently unknown, yet it is considered a serious microbial threat. The World Health Organization added Disease X in 2017 to a short list of pathogens deemed a top priority for research, alongside known killers like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Ebola.
As per WHO, it is to enable early cross-cutting R&D preparedness that is also relevant for an unknown disease.

When I have written about Trump’s shameless and, frankly, stupid self-congratulating over his Operation Warp Speed program, some have commented along the lines of “that is so 2020,” encouraging instead a futuristic outlook.

But, aside from the COVID justice that has yet to be meted out and that is very much necessary, this is why it matters: the technocrats absolutely will commence COVID 2.0 if and when they believe it will be politically expedient, potentially even existential, for them — like, for example, if it looks like a sure thing Trump wins in 2024. And how he handles it when it does happen depends very much on the personnel around him in his cabinet, the Public Health™ establishment in place, and the political pressure he feels from his own base to not repeat or endorse the horrific mistakes he made in 2020.
Of course, all of this would first require that he acknowledge said mistakes, which he has so far in his life proved unwilling or unable to do.
