The Trump administration and the new Republican Congress should ensure no more federal funding goes to universities with foreign ties to nations that are hostile to the U.S. and American values. That is something we should urge elected officials to prioritize this new year, as our future — our youth — are being brainwashed by American-hating academics.
There is so much that is wrong with U.S. higher education, from LGBTQ ideology to significantly lowered standards to CRT to DEI to pervasive anti-Semitism and anti-Christianity. But one area of particular concern is the fact that numerous colleges and universities receive funding from foreign entities or promote high-profile individuals from countries that are openly hostile to the United States.
Hamas-sponsoring Qatar is a major funder of U.S. universities; in fact, it’s reportedly the biggest Arab funder. Qatar has long harbored and lavished luxuries on Hamas leaders who want to destroy Israel and America. But Qatar isn’t the only dictatorship seeking to influence U.S. college students.
Below is a list of five examples that Campus Reform compiled based on reports from public officials and citizens about foreign influence in American higher education this year.

SJP is Students for Justice in Palestine, a radically anti-Semitic, pro-jihad group. The Iranian regime is the world’s biggest state sponsor of terrorism, and they fueled the pro-Hamas, anti-Israel demonstrations on American campuses.

The last one on Campus Reform’s list is sobering in light of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) openly avowing its determination to become the dominant world power and reportedly telling its people in 2019 that it was entering a war phase with the USA.
5. China is ‘biggest threat to international students and scholars’ in US, report finds
A recent report calls attention to foreign governments’ alleged coercion of foreign students and others in the U.S., naming China as the chief culprit.
The report was published on Jan. 31 by Freedom House, according to a press release from the organization, which describes itself as “the leading American organization devoted to the support and defense of democracy around the world.”
America’s worst enemies are reaching out tentacles into our universities. Why? The answer is obvious. They understand all too well that he who controls the young and rising generation controls the future. It is the same devious plan behind Hitler Youth in the 20th century. The Communists and the radical Muslims want to brainwash young Americans into hating their country, into hating Western Civilization, into hating Judeo-Christian morality.
That is why it is so tremendously important that we call elected officials’ attention to this crisis. Parents should not send their children to woke schools, no matter how Ivy League their reputation, and everyone can reach out to their congressmen, both state and federal, and ask for investigation into and defunding of these universities.
Do we want a country controlled by Marxists and pro-Hamas radicals? Of course not. We need to take action to protect young minds just as we would take action to defend our shores from China’s or Iran’s or Qatar’s military invasion.
