Debate night is finally here.
NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt will moderate the first debate between Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton. He’ll cover three topics in the course of tonight’s face-off: “America’s Direction,” “Achieving Prosperity,” and “Securing America.”
While the questions are likely all set by now, we thought we’d ask our audiences on Facebook and Twitter what SHOULD be asked of the candidates on centerstage tonight. After all, we believe that it’s your voice that ultimately matters when it comes to picking our next president.
What should @LesterHoltNBC ask @HillaryClinton and @realDonaldTrump at the first presidential debate? Tweet us your questions!

Here’s a summary of what some of you said:
1. There’s substantively more for Hillary Clinton to account for than Donald Trump tonight.
