Many people have been wondering, as they see reporters blowing around on their televisions, how they and their cameramen stay safe during their hurricane coverage. This MSNBC weatherman explains how they predict the direction of the storm, the direction of the wind gusts, and that they get behind some kind of structure to protect them from that. He explains why you shouldn’t throw caution to the wind (pun intended) and join them outside — that there is still the concern of debris and of downed power lines.
