Sen. Dick Durbin Says Illinois' Budget Crisis Could Mean No Election Protection

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) says that the Russians tried to hack the Illinois election system, and that their security protocols worked. But he says that, because the Illinois budget failures are keeping their security firms from getting paid, future elections might be susceptible to cyber-attacks. Illinois has predominantly been under Democrat control, so Democrats couldn’t maintain their state’s budget and are now concerned that election hacking might be keeping them from winning future elections. So Democrats’ failure might lead to Democrats failing?
