The Left Is Using Your Children

With the March for Our Lives theatrics, public schools in the U.S. have made clear quite a few things:

• They are in the hands of enemies of the Constitution. And no, we don’t mean only because they want to flagrantly violate the Second Amendment, but also because they consider the First a dead letter unless it suits them.
• They are enemies of the people of this country. There is really no logical reason why they’d want people disarmed before assailants (who don’t disarm when weapons become illegal).
• They are enemies of those of us who don’t bow to tyranny. Only our enemies would want us disarmed before would-be totalitarians.
• They are enemies of your children: they’d rather make it impossible for anyone to be able to resist a potential shooter than to arm themselves to defend your children. And yes, I’ve heard the histrionics about “I’d die to protect your children.” My kids were in school in Colorado at the time of Columbine. My answer was always: “I don’t want you to die. I want my children to live.” The fact that this brought a bewildered expression to the eyes of these would-be self-proclaimed martyrs lets you know their supposed devotion to your children was nothing but cheap histrionics.

But, Sarah, you’ll say, most of the marches were advertised as marches in memory of children and teachers slain, and besides, no one was forced to participate and no one was forced to support gun control.

Funny you should mention that.

Kids at our school today walked out, in honor of the 17 students killed in Florida. Students held signs that said, “Arm our teachers” they had two signs. A student walked out without saying a word peacefully put up his sign which said “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” he was escorted off the property by our principal and threatened to be put into a police car. This violates the first amendment and makes me sick that they can do whatever they want. Please make this go viral. Location: New Prague High school, Minnesota.

Then there was the obvious (and to those of us who have seen this before, chilling) communist indoctrination in another video on Faceborg.

This is the face of communist indoctrination, under the guise of a demonstration against gun violence.

Yesterday’s San Francisco Walkout Gun Control March closed by chanting the words of Assata Shakur, an FBI Most Wanted fugitive terrorist linked to the violent murders of at least five police officers; men murdered with guns no less, for maximum irony.

Don’t be fooled by this astroturfed leftist subversion masquerading as a grassroots movement.

What words? “We have nothing to lose but our chains.”

One finds that Assata Shakur isn’t very original. Those words belonged to Marx, who famously said, “Workers of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains.”

For maximum irony, governments and ideologies descended from Marx have used the gun extensively to impose their cursed regimes across the world. One of them, Mao Zedong, proclaimed that power flowed from the barrel of a gun.

Ultimately? The left is using children as it always does: indoctrinating, brainwashing, turning your children into zombies carrying their message.

And why are they doing this? Why do they want to curtail the rights of law-abiding citizens to own guns?  Why else but to leave the populace unarmed in the face of criminals (who by definition don’t obey the law) and tyrants? Why else but to make sure that the only ones with guns at the end will be the left?

People have remarked on how weird it is that they want Trump’s government and its organs to be the only ones with the power to respond with force.

People don’t understand that Marxist philosophy doesn’t allow for a failure mode. They don’t have either a concept of what to do with failure, or even that they can fail.

And let’s be honest. In our constitutional republic, as long as we allow them to indoctrinate our children, we’ll always be at risk of a reverse. If they get one of their own in again and persuade us to give up our guns – as their shining star Obama never managed – they will have the ability to make us obey them, from the barrel of a gun as they always wanted.

Having studied the history of communist countries (who always call themselves socialist), I would advise you not to let them, no matter how cute the kids, or how much they pinkie swear they’re doing this of their own free will.

Children don’t know history – partly because the schools don’t teach it – and don’t have enough life experience to realize they’re being used by one of the most evil ideologies ever.  And the left – having no such weakness – has no compunction in using the parents’ natural fondness for their children to get its way.

So, since the schools have pulled off the mask and revealed themselves as natural enemies of our constitutional republic, what are you going to do about it?

I suggest those of you who have – as I have, at citizenship – sworn an oath to protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic think long and hard about this.

Can you perhaps homeschool? If you can, why aren’t you? Why give your children over to an indoctrination factory that objectively hates you and everything you stand for?

And if you can’t, are you at least homeschooling-after-school? If not, why not? Why do you allow your children to be used as soldiers in the cultural revolution against you? The leftists might believe they are the future, but the truth is that what they teach leaves your children singularly ill-equipped for real life.

The left is fond of asking if we will not think of the children. I suggest we start. Every one of those teachers who led these marches of indoctrinated or coerced (no? Would you like to be the student who refused to march? I heard from several of them this week who were too afraid of repercussions to allow me to use their names) children should face serious questions about their beliefs, their backgrounds and their enmity to the Constitution. And every school that did this unanimously should have every lover of liberty vote against their funding.

If you don’t fight for your children, who will?

If you abdicate responsibility for their formation, don’t come crying to us when the enemies of freedom co-opt them.

Think of the children. Then do something about it.
