Kelly Clarkson Changes 'Baby It's Cold Outside' Lyrics Into Pro-Choice Propaganda

A few years ago, the PC social justice warrior crowd decided that the Christmas classic “Baby It’s Cold Outside” was really a song about a male predator and a vulnerable, oppressed female. Now Kelly Clarkson has teamed with John Legend for a revision that ruins Christmas early.

The holiday season is all about nostalgia and bringing back classic songs, but one song has recently started a new tradition of being annually criticized for promoting date rape: “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”

So, with that in mind, John Legend shared with “Vanity Fair” that he and fellow “The Voice” coach Kelly Clarkson recorded an updated version of the 1940s classic that is far less problematic–and notably more progressive.

It’s true: there is virtually nothing on the planet that liberals cannot ruin.

Full disclosure: I have never liked John Legend’s voice or music, but that isn’t influencing how awful I think this slight change to the lyrics are. They sound like something written by a comms person at the DNC:

The new lyrics, which Natasha Rothwell helped write, go as follows:

“What will my friends think…” Clarkson sings.

“I think they should rejoice,” Legend responds.

“…if I have one more drink?”

“It’s your body, and your choice.”

Ugh.

This kind of leftist cultural propaganda is far more powerful and long-lasting than any direct political messaging that they do. This is how they worm their way into impressionable young minds and affect shifts in attitudes.

It’s the reason that the late, great, Andrew Breitbart was so insistent on fighting the culture wars as conservatives. When he was creating his “Big” sites (all of which are under one “Breitbart” banner now), the very first one he rolled out was “Big Hollywood,” which dealt with culture and the entertainment industry.

They’ve been coming for Christmas for years now, and they will insist that isn’t true.

Until it is, of course.

Be brave, “Deck the Halls,” that “gay apparel” line is no doubt angering some SJW right now.
